LEG 550 – Trial Practice - The Child Witness: Discuss developing a rational method to assess a young child’s capacity to offer reliable testimony; Explore how to evaluating children’s competency to testify; Discuss whether children should testify in a trial and the impact it has on the child; Examine issues of reliability of child’s testimony based on age and development and how to best prepare a proper examination; and many, many more.
