KENTUCKY DERBY BARRISTER'S BALL 2020: Horses for Houses

5:30–7 p.m. — Mint Juleps & Derby Appetizers on the Patio as we watch the Kentucky Derby
Race Post Time: 6:40 p.m.
Pick your favorite horse for a chance to win the Grand Prize Basket.
You will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to place on any of the horses running in the 146th Kentucky Derby. After the race, a winning ticket will be drawn from the basket of raffle tickets of the winning horse.
7–10 p.m.— Post-Race Southern Dinner, Dancing, Program and Silent Auction
The evening includes a beer and wine reception with hors d’oeuvres on the scenic patio followed by with remarkable views of the football field and Annapolis, followed by a plated surf and turf dinner, dessert, a beer and wine open bar, dancing, and the silent auction.
Ticket Price:
$125 per person or $1,250 for a table of ten.
After April 22, $140 per person or $1,400 per table of ten.

AABA President Brian Marsh has focued attention on strengthening the community service activities of the AABA. In keeping with this theme, the Barrister’s Ball program will be tied to a service project held on April 25 at which member volunteers will work on home repair and renovation for a family in need through Rebuilding Together.
Rebuilding Together was founded in 1991 and was formerly Christmas in April. The organization repairs homes for county residents in need and are an affiliate of the nation's largest non-profit,non-denominational, volunteer organization of its kind. To date, RTAAC has renovated more than 750 homes in our County. They currently operate as a year-round home renovation and modifications program to provide home repairs for neighbors in need.
The IRS has approved the Bar Foundation as a 501(c)(3) organization, and therefore is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions.
Derby Attire Encouraged: Ladies don't forget your hats & Gentlemen grab your bow tie! Prizes will be awarded for best hat, fascinator and bow tie.
