Join us for the next AABA Volunteer Service Project: Casserole-making for Our Daily Bread
March 24, 2020 5:30 p.m.
Eastport Fire Hall, 914 Bay Ridge Avenue, Annapolis
Members are invited to join a casserole-making community service activity to benefit the Our Daily Bread Employment Center Hot Meal Program. As Maryland’s largest hot meal program serving more than a quarter of a million meals to those experiencing hunger in Baltimore City each year, the casserole program is the backbone to helping those in need.
Come out to volunteer with fellow members at the kitchen of the Eastport Fire Hall to prepare 10 large chicken and rice casseroles for the Hot Meal Program. These casseroles along with others feed more than 700 people that come to this organization each day. Preparing casseroles will be a great way for our members to give back as a community. Along with rolling up our sleeves, members will mix, mingle and enjoy refreshments while at the Fire Hall. In order to make this program a success, we are asking each volunteer to contribute ingredients for the casseroles of no more than $10 (i.e. rice, mushroom soup, chicken, dry onion soup mix). Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a separate Sign-Up Genius invite so that you can select the ingredient that you will contribute.
Twenty (20) attorney volunteers are needed. Please note that children ten (10) years of age and older are welcome to volunteer as long as they are supervised by a parent.
Registration for this event is required, is absolutely FREE, and is limited to 20 people.
