Bar Weekend Extra Activities

The Bar Weekend Committee has planned three optional activities for members and guests who want to get out and about during the afternoon break on Saturday. Space in these activities is first come, first served.

The fee for these activities is in addition to the Bar Weekend package fee. If interested, be sure to add these activities to your registration.


Golf 
Friday March 8, Tee Time:  12:00 p.m.
Enjoy the Old Course at Bedford. Perfect your game on impeccably manicured greens while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding landscape. Home to some of the top golf courses in Pennsylvania and one of the first golf courses in America, the Old Course is ranked #2 in Pennsylvania on the list of "The Best Courses You Can Play" by GolfWeek. It has also been voted #1 course in Pennsylvania and #2 course in the country for the golfer's choice awards by Golf Advisor.
Cost: $110 per person


Welcome Trivia Contest
Friday, March 8, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Match wits with fellow members over lite fare to kick off the weekend.  No need to plan a team in advance, teams will be organized after you arrive.  Enjoy appetizers and drinks while testing your knowledge in a relaxed setting.
Cost: $20 per person


Visit Bella Terra Vineyards
Saturday, March 9, 1:30 p.m.
Transportation provided by the Omni Bedford will whisk you away to Bella Terra Vineyards, located about two miles away from the hotel.  At the vineyard enjoy a private room with the AABA group while you snack on charcuterie and other delights. 
Cost: $40 per person


High Tea 
Saturday, March 9, 1:30 p.m.
Take a trip back in time and enjoy an English High Tea, which is believed to have been created by the Seventh Duchess of Bedford.  Feast on savories and sweets such as tea sandwiches, savory tartlets, petit fours, and other tasty treats along with custom blends of tea. Space is limited; registrations are first-come, first-served.
Cost: $55 per person

Child Care  
Throughout the weekend, private, on-demand childcare service is available through the resort.  

Parents can drop off children ages 4-12 for care during dinner on Saturday evening.  Includes kid-friendly dinner, snacks, babysitting fee, crafts, games and a movie. 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
