Sports Leagues & Events

AABA sports leagues and events give our members a chance to meet new colleagues through friendly competition.

Softball League

The AABA Softball League includes twelve co-ed teams that play from April through August. Games take place at the fields near the Roger Pip Moyer Recreation Center in Annapolis. In 2012 and 2013, the AABA All-Star Softball team claimed the championship in the Maryland State Bar Association’s inter-county tournament. Bowling League

In the fall, members are invited to participate in our co-ed bowling league, which meets on Tuesday nights at Greenway Bowl in Odenton. The format for the league is four bowlers per team bowling three games per week. Members interested in joining or forming a team should contact the Bowling Committee.



Golf Tournaments

The bar association hosts two golf tournaments each year: the Spring Tournament and the Crab Feast Golf Tournament on the morning of the Crab Feast. Tournament and registration information can be found in the Calendar of Events and in the Barrister a few months prior to the event date. If you are interest in assisting with either of the tournaments, contact the Golf Committee.
