The annual Homeless Resource Day is a “one-day, one stop” opportunity for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
This year, Homeless Resource Day will take place on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Glen Burnie High School. During the event, homeless persons have the opportunity to access benefits, medical care, substance use resources and mental health counseling, as well as a variety of social services which can ultimately lead to housing and self-sufficiency.
Volunteer attorneys are needed to provide limited legal advice on a wide range of topics, including expungement, family law, benefits, debt, housing and foreclosures.
Volunteers may sign up for a morning shift (9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) or an afternoon shift (12:30 - 4:00 p.m.). Click here to sign up for a shift via SignUp Genius.
