Sadly, more than 33,000 of our Anne Arundel County neighbors currently live in poverty and do not have the means to provide a holiday feast for their family. The AABA and AACBF are working to bring Thanksgiving joy back to these needy families.

 

Last year, we delivered 72 dinners to families of the Admiral Oaks Community in Annapolis. This year, we hope to serve even more families and we can do it with your help!

 

A gift of $30 will sponsor one family, providing them with a complete Thanksgiving feast, including a 12 lb. frozen turkey. In collaboration with Graul's Markets and the AABA New Lawyers' Committee, the dinners will be delivered to the needy families on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. All unused funds will be contributed to Food Link, a local emergency food pantry.

 

To make a tax-deductible donation to the Thanksgiving Dinner program, please mail your check payable to the Anne Arundel County Bar Foundation to: P.O. Box 161, Annapolis, MD 21404. Please be certain to mail your contribution by November 19.!
