in Annapolis for more than 30 years, and has been recognized as one

leadership. In addition to clients such as Adventist Healthcare Inc.,
Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, Mid-Atlantic Petroleum
Distributors Association, EDS, Lorillard Tobacco Company, Miller Brewing
Company and NewPage Corporation, he also represents the interests of
several trade associations, health-care associations and non-profit

Ever wondered how
to get your motion to postpone granted? Will your civil matter be handled
the same way as your criminal matter? Want to know what to expect when

Join the AABA and the New Lawyers Committee for a program that will
provide litigators with practical advice on how to prepare for and handle
matters before a chambers judge, presented from the unique perspective
of the chambers judges and their staff. Topics will range from a discussion
on the types of matters that come before a chambers judge and how to
go about presenting evidence to the judge. Learn what the chambers judge
expects from you as well as common pitfalls to avoid.
Panel includes Judge Nancy L. Davis-Loomis and her staff, who will discuss
the role of a chambers judge in handling civil and domestic issues;
Judge William C. Mulford II and his staff, who will focus on criminal
matters; and Judge John P. McKenna, Jr., who will discuss all of the
